Maddy rang me as I was driving home from work today. She had arrived home a little before me to discover her rabbit Benni had died.
It has been so hot in Sydney this week we can only assume he passed away because of the heat.

Poor little Benni. There was nothing you could have done though, you were at work. Lots of love to Maddi.
Oh, I'm so sorry! I had two pet rabbits, and both died from inclimate weather (one from overheating, one from freezing). They were such special little animals, and I still think about them. I hope Maddi's heart heals quickly.
